I have 20 years of building on a mission to help people personally and professionally, of managing change and leading projects. I have 10 years Human Resources generalist experience with Johnson Controls complimented by 6 years in the outplacement industry supporting people in their job searches. Marry that with two decades of volunteering and leading in the community and my church. To me, success is using the resources available to me to help others achieve: partnering with leaders regarding business decisions and coaching employees regarding career or employment matters.
In my most recent Human Resources role, my client group consisted of over 530 employees and managers – maintaining hands-on approach to coaching managers and employees in performance management and employee relations issues while simultaneously driving several large and medium-size Human Resource initiatives and projects such as training for 2400 managers nationwide and developing eLearning training and procedures for all US-based employees, both new hires and mandatory annual retraining.
I am an effective business partner in that I actively listen to understand the needs of the business or employees and then influence with integrity employees and leadership to obtain win-win solutions. A professional who combines compassion and trust with strong logic and business perspective in coaching sessions as well as in meetings with my business partners to help drive business objectives and mitigate risk to the company.
I am excited about new opportunities with local companies that require an HR professional who understands the balance of being an advocate for the employee, the manager and the company and collaborates to make change.
